The Pharmacy Unit of Davao Doctors Hospital is open 24 hours and is stocked with drugs of the highest quality and standards. The following are for the guidance of all patients, relatives and watchers.
1. DDH shall exclusively supply all medicines prescribed by the Attending Physicians since Management cannot guarantee the quality or efficacy of drugs brought in by the patient or bought from outside.
2. Medications prescribed by the Attending Physician while confined shall be automatically charged to the patient’s account. This is to facilitate the delivery of medicine to ensure that medication is according to schedule and also to ensure that the drugs used are not fake nor of spurious quality.
3. If you want to buy medicine in cash basis from the Pharmacy, you may do so. You have to inform the Nursing Station or your Nurse on duty.
4. Pharmacy charges are given a discount of 17%* if the patient pays in cash upon discharge. Pharmacy charges covered by PHIC (Medicare) or HMO carry no discount upon discharge.
