Last February 1, 2013, Davao Doctors Hospital (DDH) opened its new Coronary Care Unit (CCU) as part of the on going renovation and face lifting project of the Hospital. The new specialized care unit occupies the second floor of the Gantioque building. The unit will give way to the enhancement of DDH’s cardiology services and meet the increasing demand for specialized care for cardiac patients.
The CCU is essential to the delivery of high quality care to patients suffering from myocardial infraction, acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmia and heart failure. The unit has three fully equipped suites and three-bed ward. Each room is designed for maximum patient visibility from a central nursing station. It has also Telemetry unit as its step down unit for patients who require less intensive care.
Davao Doctors Hospital’s cardiac services are composed by highly skilled team of medical, nursing, allied health and support staff to ensure that all our cardiac patients receive quality health care.
